Tricky Ways of Tata Sky and other Satellite TV companies

I had stuck to local cable operators all my life till I was wooed by the satellite tv company Tata Sky. They gave me a set-top box and my own little dish antenna and I felt great owning one :-)

After 3-4 months of usage, I concur that my old local cable guy was the best. Tata sky has a great cheap trick that they give you channel packages at around 300 rs but the Catch is that you will get some popular channels clubbed with other unpopular channels like they'll give you star tv channels, Zee channels, Sony with the channels like asia net, dd channels etc. But they'll keep other popular channels like Colors, NDTV imagine in the other package.

This means you'll either have to sacrifice your popular channels by going with one pack or you will have to take add-ons with these Basic packs which give you a whopping figure of Rs 400/month...

I am just waiting for my balance to dry up and then i will shift to my local cable tv operator...

Punjabi Restaurants in Pune - Tareef

This is yet another place where you can enjoy scrumptious Punjabi food. The name is TAREEF !

If you are a non-vegetarian, then this place is for you. There are some great vegetarian dishes also in Paneer and mushroom but the choice in non-veg is more.

Sitting arrangement is great. The ambience, music, cutlery, surroundings are cool and give an ethnic touch.

Quality of food is awesome and quantity also is sufficient. The price is at a bit higher end. kind of not-too-high and not-too-less.

Desserts are not that good and also are overly priced. Better to have it from outside Tareef from the shops situated inside the complex. You will find all kinds of Ice-creams there on the shops also.

The seating area is small and can accomodate only 10 families of 4 members at a time. There is a waiting queue outside the restaurant. Proper seating arrangement is provided for the people outside also. Saturdays and Sundays have max crowd.

Parking is secure. Guard is available. Parking is inside the complex where the retaurant is located.

Address: From Parihar chowk go towards Pizza Hut. Located just 20-25 metres away from Pizza hut.

Punjabi Restaurants in Pune - Punjabi Tadka

I've been to Punjabi Tadka in Bavdhan, near chandni chowk. Great place to dine.

Great place to hang out. Seating arrangement is awesome.
Wear chappals/slippers while going as you can't sit with your shoes on and you'll have to remove them while sitting.
Price is very reasonable if compared to the quality of food and indeed quantity.

Try Paneer Lababdaar and Dal makhani with Garlic Naan :)

Address: Punjabi Tadka, NDA Road, Opposite Cafe Coffee Day, Chandni Chowk, Bavdhan
Free Parking on the road and is safe. Its in front of the restaurant. Guard is available.
